In addition to the LISTSERV and periodic surveys, the EIN is also developing novel surveillance methods, tools, and technologies for emerging infectious diseases and related phenomena. The following projects all allow enhanced communication about various emerging infectious diseases and related phenomena topics using electronic means.

Quick Queries

Quick Queries are very short (one to two questions per topic) and very focused queries to ascertain member opinions or approaches to a variety of emerging infectious diseases and related phenomena topics.

Case Series

Case Series are often proposed by members with a strong interest in a specific emerging infectious disease or related phenomena. These case series allow more in-depth investigation of a specific topic than can be accomplished using regular data collection methods.
